Valence tile puzzle

I returned temporarily to work for mict, a research group for Imec & UGent. They were interested in designing another VR application they could use to test eye-tracking. The idea was that the user would have to follow instructions to assemble some pipes that are part of a heating system. For the sake of clarity, the pipes are attached to square tiles that fit into a grid.
Key in this project was that there are a lot of objects and natural things to look at in the environment, which plays a key roll in the eye-tracking research.
My job was to design the tile puzzle and create a homely environment to place it in. The environment ended up coming from a Unity asset, but the puzzle itself was made from scratch.
The project was completed on time and helped to provide data for the gaze-entropy study.
